A recent story in the US publication Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology News (GEN) highlights the work that Prof. Hegner is conducting with Hofmann-LaRoche and Trinity College Dublin (TCD) Genetics Department. GEN spoke to Prof Hegner in advance of his presentation at the Knowledge Foundation Conference on “Integrating Sample Preparation: Techniques and Applications” in Baltimore at the end of October.

Ear to the Edge of Time, winner of the prestigious STAGE International Script Competition for the best new play about science and technology, will receive a special staged reading at the Samuel Beckett Theatre, Trinity College Dublin this Sunday, October 21st, at 4:00 p.m. The cast features some of Ireland’s hottest actors:  Lorcan Cranitch, Simon Delaney, Rosaleen Linehan, Pauline McLynn, Hugh O’Conor, Marcella Plunkett and Killian Scott.
